William H. 'Hod' Stuart

Induction Year: 1945 Played  11 Years

He and his brother broke into professional hockey when they were signed by the Ottawa Senators; he quickly established himself as one of the best defenceman on the ice; he later played with Quebec, Calumet, Pittsburgh and Montreal; he was playing for the Montreal Wanderers when they won the Stanley Cup; his career was cut short when he was involved in a fatal accident two months later; elected in 1945.
